My wife and I had the great pleasure of staying at Le Friquet Hotel for two days.

We somehow forgot to fill in the paper inviting comments on our stay so I am taking this opportunity to say how much I enjoyed the stay, how welcome we felt and how impressed we were with every aspect of the service.

Nothing was too much trouble for the front desk and all staff in the restaurant and bar were cheerful, courteous and polite at all times. I particularly enjoyed the cheerful good humour and the genuine wish to please displayed by all staff.

"My wife and I had our second honeymoon on Guernsey. I am writing to thank you for the lovely time we spent at Le Friquet. The choice of Hotel was made after browsing the Internet and we could not have chosen better.

Le Friquet is everything that it is claimed to be and more. The accommodation was good, the food excellent, no wonder that you get a lot of the locals using your Restaurant.

The staff warrant particular praise, from the chambermaids upwards, I found a willing and cheerful attitude and nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. I ran a Cavalry Officers Mess in the Eighties and having done my best to turn tank park soldiers into good waiters and barmen I could only ever admit to passable results, far from the standards that your Team have achieved.

" I decided to spend a few days in Guernsey for a surprise for my partner. I booked everything on the Internet, Flybe cheap and helpful confirmed booking. No queues at Airport. Arrived in Guernsey, car hire booked, no problems. Hotel booked on Internet.
What I really liked was that it was confirmed within a day by e-mail and directions of where to go. Arrived at Hotel. Very friendly. We were taken in person to our Room which I thought was really nice, a personal touch. The whole short break has been great, no hiccups. Every one helpful and friendly. Our room was cleaned whilst we were having
Breakfast. The morning staff and bar staff were great.
